When do you use "will" and when "to be going to" ?

"I............call you later"
(decision made at the moment of speaking)

"Will" is used to talk about a decision that is made at the moment of speaking or to make a prediction about something that is likely to happen. 

For example:

I will go to the store later.

I think it will rain tonight.

"To be going to" is used to talk about a plan or intention that has already been made, or to make a prediction based on evidence or a current situation. For example:

I am going to visit my friend tomorrow.

Look at those dark clouds! It's going to rain soon.

In general, "will" is more often used for predictions or spontaneous decisions, while "to be going to" is more often used for planned actions or predictions based on evidence.

If you know the grammar structures and rules, you will easily recognize mistakes and you will be able to explain them

Zero Conditional:

This type of conditional is used to talk about things that are generally true or always happen under certain conditions.

Structure: If + present simple, present simple.

Example: If it rains, the streets get wet.

First Conditional

This type of conditional is used to talk about things that are likely to happen in the future, based on a present situation or condition.

Structure: If + present simple, will + base form.

Example: If I have time, I will go to the gym.

Second Conditional:

This type of conditional is used to talk about things that are not likely to happen, or are hypothetical or imaginary.

Structure: If + past simple, would + base form.

Example: If I won the lottery, I would buy a big house.

Third Conditional:

This type of conditional is used to talk about things that did not happen in the past, and how things might have been different if they had happened.

Structure: If + past perfect, would have + past participle.

Example: If I had studied harder, I would have passed the exam.

Note: Sometimes the second and third conditionals can be mixed to talk about hypothetical past situations and their imagined results in the present or future.

Example: If I had a million dollars, I would buy a yacht and sail around the world.
