Introducing your superhero (20min)

Write an exciting introduction, telling us what he is doing and wearing. Make sure to use the present continuous at least 3x. 

After 15 minutes, you will present your introduction

During your art lessons you have drawn superheroes in action. For English you are going to introduce one of your drawings to the world in pairs! 

Assignment: Write an exciting introduction, telling us what he is doing and wearing. Use present continuous 3x (or more).

What are they wearing?

What are they doing?

To: Jump, look, run, sprint, throw, hit, ride, fight

Pieces of clothing:

t-shirt, trousers, shoes, skirt, dress, jacket, shorts, legging

Action verb examples

Present continuous question: am/is/are+ subject + verb +ing

This is Lady T and she is fighting her competitor in a boxing ring. She is wearing a purple onesie in which she can hide all her secret gadgets and weapons. She is also wearing blue stiletto heels. In the drawing she is jumping and is making a high kick to knock out her opponent with her heels.

Write a sentence in the present continuous about what is happening in the classroom right now.

Who is it?

1) One person takes a person in mind.

2)  The other group members have to ask questions to find out who it is. E.g. "Is he/she wearing/doing x?"

3) The person who guesses the most people and uses the present continues correctly,  wins!
