Speaking assignment: Shopping for clothes

You need to buy some new clothes. Have a conversation with the shop assistant to get what you need. 

1. You will work in pairs and switch after each conversation. One will be the shop assistant, and the other will be the customer.

2. Use the scenario descriptions to guide the conversation.

3. Each role-play should last 2 minutes.

4. Use polite language, ask questions, and provide clear responses.

5. Keep talking!

Customer:

• Do you have this in [color/size]
• How much does this cost?
• Can I try it on?
• What do you recommend?
• I’m looking for something comfortable/trendy/affordable

Shop Assistant:

• How can I help you today?
• We have this in [color/size].
• This is on sale right now.
• Would you like to try it on?
• This is very popular with our customers.
