Possessive Pronouns

(Bezittelijke voornaamwoorden)

We use the possesive pronouns to indicate

• that something is yours.
• or from someone else.

Again 2 forms.

• ones we place before a noun(zelfstandig naamwoord): my, you, his/her/its, our, your, their.
  
• The ones without a noun(zonder zelfstandig naamwoord): Mine, yours, his/hers/its, ours, yours, theirs.

Enkelvoud:

Mijn tas - My bag

Jouw huis - Your house

Zijn/Haar/X geld - His/Her/Its money

Meervoud:

Onze tas - Our bag

Jullie huis - Your house

Hun  boeken - Their books

In front of the noun

Enkelvoud:

Van mij - Mine

Van jou - Yours

Van hem/haar/X - His/Hers/X

Meervoud:

Van ons - Ours

Van jullie - Yours

Van hun - Theirs

Without the noun
