Introduction 
Op 4 juni 1969 overleefde de toen 17-jarige Cubanese vlucteling een bloedstollende reis in een Boeing 707 . Verborgen in het landingsgestel van het vliegtuig vloog hij in 9 uur van de Cubaanse hoofdstad Havana naar het Spaanse Madrid. Hij had geluk: toen het vliegtuig in Madrid aankwam, viel hij bewusteloos en met bevroren kleding uit het landingsgestel maar hij overleefde de reis.
