Some Rules
1. No use of mobile phones during class unless I tell you you're allowed to use them.

2. Raise your hand if you know the answer to a question or if you want to ask something. So, don't shout out your answer/question.

3. When I'm trying to explain something, don't talk through my explanation, please. Be respectful and listen. You'll have enough time to talk when you're working on assignments in between my explanations.

4. Always bring your books to class! How ya gonna work without a book, anyway?

5.  Don't cuss in class, please.

3. What are your greatest talents?
4. Do you like group work or would you rather work alone?

8. Is there anything you think is important that I should know about you, and if so, what do you want me to know?

Today: We're going to work on pages 40 and 41 of Unit 5 in your English in Mind textbook (if we won't get to page 41 then it's homework for next monday (3 February). From today onwards you should also start reading Animal Farm

Thursday
(30 January): No class, because of the teacher's strike! (yaay!)

Monday (3 February): Check homework, then practice listening (3rd hour) BU: MO 23, 24 (5th hour)

Thursday (6 February): BU: MO 23, 24  (8th hour)

Monday (10 February): BU: SO 12-24 - Cito kijk- en luistertoets (3rd hour)

1b. What are the most popular reality TV shows in your country? What kind of things do people do on these shows?
1c. Read the text quickly. Are any of your ideas mentioned?
