Those with Compliance traits are detail-oriented, systematic, and methodical. They focus on precision and quality in their work.

Non verbal communication can complement verbal communication such as looking happy when saying you are happy. It can reinforce verbal communication such as looking angry when telling your children off. It can substitute verbal communication such as nodding your head to indicate yes rather than actually saying yes. And it can contradict verbal communication like when a woman says she is fine but her body language clearly indicates that she is not fine.

It is based on the concept that individuals operate from three ego states: Parent, Adult, and Child. These ego states influence how people think, feel, and behave in their relationships and communication. TA provides tools to analyse and improve interactions by identifying the ego states involved, fostering effective communication, and resolving conflicts. It is widely used in therapy, education, and organisational settings to enhance self-awareness, personal growth, and interpersonal effectiveness.
