Migration & Urbanization
Many other cities in Western Turkey also grew because of migration.
There are three main migration flows in Turkey.
1 east --> west
2 countryside --> big city
3 interior --> coast

Because of urbanization, the level of urbanization has risen dramatically to 70%.
Urban renewal is also taking place in many other Turkish cities.
