What are adjectives?
Adjectives
(bijvoegelijke naamwoorden) are words that describe a
noun
(person/thing) or add to its meaning.
They can also follow verbs to describe feelings. For example:
A cold drink can make us feel cooler

Adverbs (
bijwoorden
) describe verbs (action words). They give us more information about
when

where
or
how
something happens.
You can usually turn an adjective into an adverb by adding -ly:
Slow > slowly / loud > loudly / quiet > quietly
