Past perfect simple

- had + verb-ed (or irregular verb)

- iets dat gebeurde voor iets anders in de past simple
- tijdindicatie: before, after, when, etc. 
- na bijwoorden already, just, never

- is afgesloten, is al gebeurd
Past perfect continuous

- had been + verb-ing 

- iets dat gebeurde voor iets anders in de past simple, als het gaat om:
  •        de lengte van een gebeurtenis; all day, for three months, one week before

- iets dat doorgaat of door is gegaan

- I found her phone, after she had left. 

- He had already left when she arrived

Read the whole text first.
Try to retell the text in your own words.
Usually simple words to make sentences grammatically correct. 
(some/any/auxiliary verbs/yes/no/one/and/but/so/if etc etc)
