Libya --> Lawless, torn by war. Human traffickers have can do what they want - exploit 

Syria --> Civil war since 2012, with a lot of violence against citizens - approx. 4 million Syrians have since fled

Somalia & Mali --> Unsafe for citizens - civil war

Nigeria - Boko Haram cause death, destruction & fear

Eritrea - forced labour for young people, torture and kills citizens without trial

Main reason 1: many conflicts in countries surrounding Europe
