we sing - she sings

you run - it runs

he / she / it: verb + S

O -> oes

vowel + y -> s

consonant + y -> ies

s sound -> es

What happens to change the sentence to a negative sentence?

• Don't /doesn't is added
• Don't / doesn't comes before the verb

Rule:

I / you / we / they: Don't(+verb)

Rule:

He/ she / it: Doesn't (+verb)

S moves from the verb to doesn't
