Belangrijke uitzonderingen
  • Werkwoorden die al eindigen op -e krijgen alleen een -d.                                Vb: We baked a delicious cake.
  • Werkwoorden die eindigen op een -c krijgen -ked erachter.                         Vb: She panicked when she heard the news.
  • Werkwoorden die eindigen op een -y met een medeklinker ervoor krijgen -ied. Vb: They married last month.
