Shall / will  / be going to

Deze 3 gebruik je als je iets over de toekomst wilt vertellen.

Na shall  / will en am/is/are going to komt het hele ww.

Voorbeeld:

I am going to train tonight.

I will go to bed early tonight.

Will/shall + infinitive

Dingen die niet gepland zijn. Beloftes, voorspellingen zonder bewijs, spontane beslissingen. 

We will give it back tomorrow.

Mum thinks it will rain, I'm not sure though.

I think I will go to the cinema!

To be going to + infinitive

Als iemand van plan is om iets te gaan doen. Plannen of voorspellingen met bewijs. 

We agreed that we are going to go to the cinema.

Look at those dark clouds! I think it is going to rain.

Over het verleden

Regelmatige werkwoorden

• Als je iets over het verleden wilt zeggen, zet je meestal -(e)d achter het werkwoord. 
  
• Als een werkwoord eindigt op een medeklinker + -y, dan verander je eerst -y in -i. Daarna zet je er -ed achter. 
  

Onregelmatige werkwoorden

• Bij onregelmatige werkwoorden zet je geen -(e)d achter het werkwoord. 
• Deze woorden staan altijd in rijtje van drie.
• Het tweede woord van zo'n rijtje gebruik je om iets te zeggen over het verleden.
