Present Simple

• Gebruik je als iets gebeurd met regelmaat, vaak of juist nooit.
• VB: - I go to the gym every Monday

        - I never go to the gym

        - I sometimes go to my friends on Sunday

• Ook gebruik je als iemand iets doet, wat niet echt een 'actie' is
• VB: - She opens her eyes 

               - I see him

Present Continuous

• De Present Continuous gebruik je om aan te geven dat iemand NU iets doet (een actie)

      VB: - I am playing football (right now)

              - He is shaking his head at me   

• Het bestaat altijd uit 2 woorden: am/is/are + WW-ing

       VB: - I am playing football

               - He/she/it is playing football

               - They/we are playing football
