Wat zijn 'tags'?

•  'Tags' zijn korte vraagjes die je aan een zin                      vastplakt (Hè? / Niet waar? / Toch?).

• Gebruik: Je gebruikt 'tags' om bevestiging te vragen.

• Vorm: (hulp)werkwoord + persoonlijk voornaamwoord

• Zin bevestigend (+)?         Tag ontkennend (–)!
• Zin ontkennend (–)?          Tag bevestigend (+)!
  

Regels tag questions

Als de hoofdzin positief is, dan is de aangeplakte vraag negatief.

You are really hungry, aren't you?

The Queen is very famous, isn't she?

You aren't a mean person, are you?

She is not a morning person, is she ?

Let op!

als in de hoofdzin een naam staat, dan gebruik je een persoonlijk voornaamwoord in de aangeplakte vraag.

Peter and Jane are not good friends, are they?
