  • By 2022 BFI aim to achieve the following among employees and within the filmmakers we support:​
  • A 50-50 gender balance​
  • 20% target for those identifying as belonging to an under-represented ethnic group​
10% target for those identifying as LGBTQ+​
12% target for those identifying as D/deaf and disabled​

Equity rates exist to protect creative workers. ​
Daily Performance Salary must be at least the minimum wage hourly rate, (as defined in the National Minimum Wage Act 1998 or any modification or re-enactment thereof).​

For example: from the 5th April 2021 Daily= £144 Weekly (5 days) £576 6th April 2021.​

This with rise with inflation / minimum wage ​
