Today we will check what you learned from paragraph 2.1, and we will move on to paragraph 2.2.

Goals

• You can name all parts of the male reproductive system and what their functions are
• You can name the external and internal parts of the male reproductive system

The male reproductive system

• External (outside the body, visible): penis and scrotum 
• Internal (inside the body, not visible): everything else

Why are penis and scrotum outside?

• Scrotum: For production of healthy sperm cells, a temperature lower than the body temperature is required.
• Penis: For injection of sperm into female reproductive organs

• You can choose one to watch 
• The longer one is more specific, but very complete (skip 7:00-13:00)
• The shorter one is missing a few parts, which you then have to figure out for yourself in the book

• To prepare yourself for that, we have an assignment for you in itslearning: submit a list of all the bolded words in the paragraph, together with their definition. Deadline = before the next lesson (Monday)

• Prepare for paragraph 2.3 (read through it, look up the words you don't know, etc)
