Present Perfect-usage
  1. P.P. is used to say that sth happened in the past and continues in the present. It is important at the time of speaking. There is still a conection with the here and now. eg. I have lost my keys. I can't get into the house.
  2. we also use the P.P. to talk about events and experiences up to the present. eg. Jane has had a headache for two weeks now.
