  • Verleden tijd
  • Afgesloten gebeurtenissen
  • Werkwoord + ed
  • Onregelmatige ww moet je leren
  • Vragen maken met did + hele werkwoord!
  • Ontkenningen maken met didn't + hele werkwoord!
Present perfect

  • Voltooid tegenwoordige tijd
  • Bij dingen die in het verleden zijn begonnen en nog bezig zijn; in het verleden gebeurd zijn maar er staat niet bij wanneer; als iets net gebeurd is
  • have/has + voltooid deelwoord
  • voltooid deelwoord: ww + ed / onregelmatig 3e rijtje

Hoe kies je de juiste? --> zoek naar signaalwoorden
  • simple past: tijdsbepalingen in het verleden: yesterday, three weeks ago, when I was younger, etc. 
    Yesterday I visited my aunt. 
    They went to the zoo last weekend. 

  • present perfect: for (+tijd), since (+tijd), so far, (not) yet, how long, always, never, just, already, this (+tijd), recently (FYNE JAS)
    I have lived here since I was three years old. 
    So far nothing bad has happened
