Wat is een passieve zin?
Een zin waarin het onderwerp iets ondergaat, dus zelf NIKS doet, bijvoorbeeld:

Hoe ziet de passive eruit?
  • Een vorm van TO BE (en die betekent hier: WORDEN)
  • gevolgd door een voltooid deelwoord (werkwoord + ed, of het 3e rijtje van de onregelmatige werkwoorden)

Hoe maak je een zin passief?
  • KIJK GOED NAAR DE ACTIEVE ZIN (bv. I open the door)
  • WAT IS HET LIJDEND VOORWERP OF MEEWERKEND VOORWERP? 
  • DIT WORDT HET ONDERWERP VAN DE LIJDENDE ZIN

1. Bepaal het lijdend voorwerp of meewerkend voorwerp van de actieve zin
2. Bepaal de tijd van de actieve zin. De vorm van TO BE moet in deze tijd staan
3. Volg de vorm van to be door het voltooid deelwoord van de persoonsvorm van de ACTIEVE zin (ww + ed of 3e rijtje)
