Before you start:

• Uses English to express yourself
• English is on B2 level
• At least 80% of the exam is mentioned
• Examinator can understand you
• Is between 6 - 8 minutes

Cohension and connectors

What is cohesion

Many ways in which language is connected together to make coherent speech.

What is a connector

Words that seperate or combine sentences

Besides familiar vocabulary, you are able to use more complex vocabulary 

Make use of synonyms - happy, cheerful, content, ect.

Articles are used correctly - an apple - a desk - the president 

Strategies

Can correct yourself if necessary 

E.g. I have been taught since I was 17 - I have been teaching since I was 17

Paraphrase when lost for words 

Chair - something you can sit on, it has legs, made of wood and metal

Grammar forms are correct

Plural nouns are used correct 

Able to express yourself fluently 

Vary in intonation

Make sure you open and close correctly
