line perspective
Way to represent the three-dimensional world on a flat surface, using a vanishing point to which all parallel horizontal lines run.

Here you see central perspective, a form of line perspective in which the artist stands in the middle of the space (also known as one-point perspective).

Slide 3 - Diapositive

In one-point perspective..
  • is the vanishing point at the artist's eye level.
  • vertical lines remain vertical and horizontal lines remain   horizontal.
  • only the lines that go into depth (slanted lines) end up in the vanishing point.

Slide 4 - Diapositive

Horizon

Slide 5 - Diapositive
