- Affirmative: 2e in het rijtje: I went, we walked, she did
- Negative: didn't + hele werkwoord (!): I didn't go, we didn't walk
- Question: did ... hele werkwoord: did you go? when did you walk there?

If adjective ends in -y, that turns into an i and then -ly is added
happy - happily
hasty - hastily

- your last holiday
- an interaction with an angry customer
- What you did to finish your last school assignment
