Goals
At the end of this lesson I can recognize the difference between Present Perfect and Past Simple.

Slide 4 - Diapositive

Present Perfect vs. Past Simple
- My mother gave my brother a hug yesterday (feit) --> past simple

- We have lived in Amsterdam since 2002 (nu nog bezig) --> present perfect

Slide 5 - Diapositive

Present perfect vs past simple
to talk: I talked to Jim this morning.
to watch: We watched the match yesterday.
to play: She played with her brother.

De basisregel voor het schrijven van de present perfect is: have / has + voltooid deelwoord.
to play : I have played football for three years.
to see: I have seen this movie six times already.
to lose: Robert has lost his keys.

Let op de onregelmatige werkwoorden (Irregular verbs) !!!
