Wanneer gebruik je?:

object + infinitive 

Dit doe je na werkwoorden die een wens of bevel uitdrukken en na would love and would like.

verb = werkwoord 

object = meewerkend/lijdend vw

infinitive = hele werkwoord

Example:

I told her to correct her grammar

Uitzondering

I made her correct her grammar 

Let op! Er zijn uitzonderingen.

Na to let, to make en alle zintuiglijke werkwoorden (werkwoorden die te maken hebben met je zintuigen)

gebruik je :

verb + object+infinitief zonder to

Example: He made her stay at home.

Example: I saw my classmate leave the doctor's.
