      7. What made Jessica hang on when she hit her second severe storm?
After her boat had been rolled upside down several times she feared she was going to die. She somehow became very rational and came to the conclusion she wanted to hang on (survive) because she didn’t want to put her family through the grief of losing her.

      8. What did Jessica want to achieve with her solo journey around the world?
She wanted to show that we do have the power to make our dreams come true.
‘Dreams are so much better when you’re living them!’

        What is the passive voice?
Sometimes, we don’t say who does an action because it’s not important or we don’t know. Instead, we focus on what happens.
