*Get to work

Speaking games

*We are going to play some games, to practise fluent speaking for your oral exam.

*We are going to play 4 games, each game will take about 10 minutes

20 questions

*The game:
-I will come up with a celebrity, for you all to guess.

-Your task is to ask me "yes" and "no" questions, in English.

-You will have to figure out who I am thinking of, within 20 questions.

Think fast

*The game
-We are going to stand up, behind our tables.
-One of you will come up with a catagory, for instance: animals.
-Someone will start by naming an animal, after that, this person will throw this thing to a different student.
-This next student will have to name a new animal
-We keep going until someone makes a mistake.

Pictionary

*The game
-You are going to work in pairs
-Each person gets a piece of paper, you will have to draw something on this.
-Once your done, you will have to explain the picture that you drew to your teammate.
-When your teammate guessed your picture, switch roles.

2 truths and a lie

The game
-I am going to say 3 statements, about me or my experiences in life.
-2 of these statements are true, 1 is a lie.
-You can ask me questions in English to try to figure out my lie.

-The game ends when you give me an answer, right or wrong.

Get to work

*After speaking for about 40 minutes, I now want you to quiet down and get to work.

*10 minutes of working, on either your bouwstenen or your oral exam presentation.

*You can work with the person next to you, but please whisper!

Time left? 

*We are going to play a game of pictionary online.

*I will send you the link to the game on itslearning.
