To say what used to happen in the past
"I used to go to the zoo every thursday, but they closed last month."
"He used to be sad, but then he met her."
"Before they moved to the US, we used to hang out often."

What are tag questions?
Do we use them in Dutch? Examples?
"Toch?" "Hé" "Of niet?"
Used to
verify
if you are correct.
For example: "Your name is John, isn't it?"

How to use them:
After a positive sentence, use a negative tag question;
For example: Today
is
Wednesday,
isn't
it?"
After a negative sentence, use a positive tag question;
For example: That
isn't
true,
is it
?

In the tag question you repeat the following verbs:
Forms of "to be", "to have", "can" and "could"
If none of these are in the sentence, use: correct form of "to do".
The subject of the tag question is the personal pronoun:
I, you, he, she, it, they, we, you
or
there
