What does to manufacture mean?

1. to make something in a factory
2. to use something new

What does entertaining mean?

1. stupid and boring
2. funny and enjoyable

What does portable mean?

1. that you go through a portal
2. light and small enough to be easily carried or moved

What does invention mean?

1. creating something that has never been made before
2. using something that is new
3. stealing something that is new

What does equipment mean?

1. Things you need for something
2. things you make when your hungry
3. something with animals

We are going to have a look at a video about a boardgame. 

What are the rules to this game?

Write down the rules on a piece of paper / your notebook while watching and use this to answer the next question. 

Put the rules of the game in the right order.

CHET is a move where you 'capture' a pawn in between two of your own pawns. 

Sometimes you can capture more than one pair. 

Capture or GAHN is when you are on an empty spot between two pawns of a different color.

Only move to vacant points on the grid.

• Make a mindmap with ideas for your own game. Be creative, but keep it simple. 

• Test your ideas with a family member or a friend through the phone.  Write down a few sentences about their opinion. (50 words)
• Kill your darlings - so choose the idea you are going to work on.
