 will/shall + verb

 Present simple

Present continuous

am/ are/ is + going to + verb

When to use? 

- If something is planned

I am going to visit Bob tomorrow.

- Something which is likely to happen

I can see that it is going to rain.

Will/shall + verb

When to use? 

- Decision taken on the instant moment 

"Hey, there is no milk." I will get some milk.

shall is used with questions with I and we:

Shall I go to get some milk?

Present simple

When to use? 

Timetables or set arrangements

The train leaves at 13.00 pm.

Present continuous

When to use? 

Things which are planned and have a set time
