 Adding smarties to the M&M brownies was superfluous, extra and unnecessary. 

Haughty: She is so humble and modest, she could never be called haughty.

Word parts are also helpful.

Tips for reading

1. Practice makes perfect. The more you'll practice, the better you'll get. 

2. Read the question + summarise it, read text and summarise answer, check your answers.

3. What sentences prove the answer you want to give? Make sure you know what sentence has the answer.

Tips for listening

1. Read first the questions, then listen to the audio.

2. You can pause the audio anytime you want.

3. The questions are (almost) always in the order of the audio.
