1. Jij begint de brief met de juiste aanhef.
2. Jij stelt jezelf voor (naam, leeftijd).
3. Jij zegt naar welke baan je solliciteert. 
4. Jij legt uit dat je na je examens twee maanden naar familie in Oxford gaat: juli en augustus.
5. Jij schrijft dat je twee jaar werkervaring hebt: je werkt bij een supermarkt in je woonplaats. 
6. Jij geeft aan waarom jij geschikt bent voor de baan (2 dingen).
7. Jij geeft aan dat je 18 uur per week wilt werken.

Sollicitatiebrief: a letter of application

Dear Mr Linesdale,

My name is Esther van den Berg and I would like to apply for the job of caretaker at Tesco. I am a seventeen-year-old girl and I live in the Netherlands. I will finish my final exams this summer and after that I will be staying with relatives in Oxford for two months. I will be in Oxford in July and August. I would very much like to work at your supermarket during this time.

I have two years' experience working at the supermarket in Appeltern. I can communicate well with everyone and I love cleaning. If possible, I would like to work eighteen hours a week.
