The Office (UK/US)

"The Office" is a television comedy series that originally aired in the United Kingdom and later inspired an American adaptation. 

• Both series are mockumentaries, which means they use a documentary-style format to tell a fictional story that often satirizes real-life situations. 
• The UK version of "The Office" follows the daily lives of employees at a paper company called Wernham Hogg, while the US version is set at Dunder Mifflin, a similar paper company in Scranton, Pennsylvania. 
• Both series are known for their humor, distinctive characters, and awkward moments.

What is important while giving a pitch?

Assignment 1

In a group of two students you are going to watch videoclips of the British television series "The Office US." For this assignment you are going to choose one of the topics from last class and prepare a 30 second to 1 minute pitch about the similarities of the office cultures within the series.
