Past continuous
Je gebruikt de past continuous om aan te geven dat je ergens mee bezig was op een bepaald moment in het verleden. Je zegt dus dat je iets aan het doen was.

Past continuous + Past Simple

Als je ergens mee bezig was in de verleden tijd en iets anders gebeurt er tussendoor.

was/were + ww + ing voor waar dat waar je mee bezig bent.
bijv.  je was aan het tv kijken/ eten

ww + ed (of 2e rijtje van de onr ww) voor wat er
tussendoor kwam - iemand belde op bijv.
