Today we will be learning:

How leaves are built up. 

What the function of leaves are. 

How photosynthesis takes place. 

Leaves

Leaves are a very major part of the plant. Most of the respiration and photosynthesis takes place here. 

How does photosynthesis take place?

A plant can't do photosynthesis on it's own. It needs certain substances to let it take place. It need water which it gets out of the ground through the roots. It also needs carbondioxide, which is a gas. It absorbs the carbondioxide through the leaves. Of course it also needs sunlight. 

What does a plant make with photosynthesis

When a plant has all those substances it can perform photosynthesis. During that, a plant makes glucose and oxygen. It stores glucose in differents parts of the plant, and it releases oxygen through the leaves.

Limiting factors

There is always a limiting factor stopping the growth of plants. Ex. light, water and minerals. It also doesn't want too much of something. It needs to be in an optimum.
