Introduction to Present Simple Tense
Present simple tense is used for regular actions or routines. 
  • Example: 'I walk to school every day.'

De present simple is de onvoltooid tegenwoordige tijd in het Nederlands en wordt gebruikt om een

  • een gewoonte of 
  • een regelmatig weerkerende handeling weer te geven.

Introduction to Present Continuous Tense
Present continuous tense is used for actions happening now or around now. Example: 'I am walking to school.'
De present continuous geeft 3 gevallen aan:
  • Dat iets aan de gang is
  • De toekomst aanduiden
  • Irritatie uitdrukken
Vorm: am/are/is + werkwoord + ing
Voorbeeldzinnen:
  • What is Jamie doing?
  • You are constantly complaining!
  • We are flying to India next week.
