Simple sentence- Present Simple

We use the Present Simple to talk about:

Present Simple 'gewone' (bevestigende zinnen)

I/you/we/they + werkwoord

examples: I go, you see, we think, they walk

he/she/it + werkwoord+s

Examples: she walks, he sees, she fixes, it flies

Uitzondering in spelling:

werkwoord eindigt op s-klank: werkwoord +es

wash - washes, box -boxes, pass - passes etc....

Werkwoord eindigt op medeklinker + y: y wordt -ies

cry - cries, fly-flies, dry - dries etc....
