We use a SECOND CONDITIONAL to talk about these imaginary (=denkbeeldige) situations.
Study the green grammar box on p. 15. 
Note that a conditional sentence always consists of two parts: an if-clause and a main clause. There has to be a comma when you put the if-clause first.
