Steaking time

1. Work in groups. Each student has to write five new words from their Quizlet set on a piece of paper.

2. The teacher shuffles the cards. The task is to make a story together using the words on the cards. Everyone has to say one sentence to continue the story and use one word from the card. One student has to write the story down and read it out loud later on. 

Work in teams

Divide the class into two teams.

One student from each team  writes a sentence in Present Simple (e.g., "I like apples").

The next student from the team must continue with another sentence (e.g., "She eats breakfast at 7 am").

The team with the most correct sentences in a set time wins.

Bingo

1. Each student receives a blank bingo sheet and fills it with activities they think their partner might do (e.g., "go to school," "watch TV," "play sports").

2. Students take turns asking each other questions in Present Simple, such as “Do you go to school?” or “Do you watch TV?”

If the answer is yes, they cross out that activity on their sheet.

3. The first student to cross out all or the most activities on their bingo sheet wins!
