Did they discuss the ideas together?
they discuss the ideas together, not in turn

Was there good eye contact?
Good and they are facing each other.
What mistake did Mustafa make?
Mustafa didn't really respond to Pilar, he is good at expressing his points but he seemed to move on to the next topic without responding to what Pilar was saying, he tends to launch a Monologue mode rather than ask Pilar for her opinion.
