Warming-up

- Open your book on page 11 and look at the questions from exercise 1. 

- Video 'Connected Tablets in Construction - Telstra Enterprise'

- After the video you can answer the questions in LessonUp. 

Do you (think you are going to) use any mobile apps in your job? Why (not)?

Make a list with apps that are available for workers in your field. Write down why they're useful and why you picked them.

My tips for you when reading a text. 

- First, skim the text and look at the titles (keywords)

- Then read the first and last sentence of every paragraph. 

-Read in circles, first globally, then more precise

When you've done this it should have given you an idea about what the text is about.

- Before looking at the answers you can choose to look only at the question. 

- Then read the paragraph in which you can find the answer and try to answer the question. 

- Lastly, look at the answers and choose the one that fits best.

Prefixes and Suffixes 

What do you think prefixes and suffixes are?

Explanation 

- Some prefixes and suffixes are used to make a word positive or negative. 

- This could help you with finding out the meaning of a word.

- Mind you, always look at the context; a prefix or suffix can have a different meaning depending on the sentence.
