Past continuous

Je gebruikt de past continuous om aan te geven dat je ergens mee bezig was op een bepaald moment in het verleden. Je zegt dus dat je iets aan het doen was.

Je gebruikt de past continuous alleen als je kunt zeggen dat je iets aan het doen was wanneer plotseling iets anders gebeurde.

Je maakt de past continuous door was of were voor het werkwoord te zetten en –ing er achter

Past continuous + Past Simple

Als je ergens mee bezig was in de verleden tijd en iets anders gebeurt er tussendoor.
