  • Een tag is een kort vraagje aan het einde van een zin:                                 aren't you....?    hasn't she.....?  am I....?
  • Waarom denk je dat de spreker dit doet?
  • Om eigenlijk te vragen of dat het klopt of dat hij/zij dat gedaan heeft etc. 
  • In het Nederlands zeggen wij vaak: nietwaar?, toch?, hé?
