Migration policy in the Netherlands

Restrictive immigration policy

Strict conditions for being allowed to enter as an immigrant.

Valid identification documents + evidence of why asylum is needed.

The Netherlands must adhere to international treaties, such as the UN Refugee Convention and the European Convention on Human Rights.
