Paper 1: Guided Textual Analysis 
- SL: one unseen non-literary text (1 hour 15 min)
- HL: two unseen non-literary text (2 hour 15 min)
 
Paper 2: Comparative Essay
- Both SL and HL students have 1 hour 45 min
- Four unseen essay questions
- Writing a compative essay comparing two literary works you studied

Academic Honesty
  • Acknowledge the work of others: Citation, bibliographies
  • No malpractice! (plagiarism and collusion).
  • Plagiarism: Copying the work of the other without acknowledging, includes also translations from other languages.
  • Collusion: Allowing your work to be copied or duplicating work that you have done for any other assignment at school.

How will I be graded?

Summative assessment: digital final assignment as part of your school grade at the end of each term. Check  your study planner regularly.
Formative assessment: Practical leaner portfolio assignments and the personal vocabulary book added to your learner portfolio.
Important!: Your final assignment will not qualify for grading and will result in 1 as a grade unless you finish and add the practical assignments on time to your learner portfolio.
