You do not lose most of your body heat through the head. The head only represents about 10% of the body's total surface area. So if the head were to lose even 75% of the body's heat, it would have to lose about 40 times as much heat per square inch as every other part of your body.

In fact, nearly 3% of the ice in Antarctic glaciers is penguin urine. Since the temperature in Antarctica is well below freezing, the urine freezes in the ice immediately and can't get washed off or evaporate.
