Conclusion Ordinals - rangtelwoorden
1e = first = 1st
2e = second = 2nd
3e = third = 3rd

vanaf de 3e komt overal th achter
4e = forth = 4th

Behalve als er weer een 1, 2 of 3 aan het eind staat:
21e = twenty-first = 21st

Slide 21 - Diapositive

Ordinals - rangtelwoorden
Bij tientallen vanaf 20 krijg je -ieth i.p.v. -yth:
twentieth (20th)  - thirtieth (30th)  - fourtieth (40th) - etc.
Ook krijg je bij rangtelwoorden een streepje (-) na de 20:
twenty-first (21st) - thirty-sixth (26th) - forty-ninth (49th) - etc.
