Parsnip has an anisy taste. It can also be eaten raw or as fries.
Still popular in England.​

- It's so intensely spicy, it can bring tears to your eyes!
- It is the root of a perennial plant in the Brassica family
(which also includes mustard, wasabi,
broccoli, and cabbage).​

- It has many uses in cooking, and it’s practically
obligatory in a Bloody Mary.

in Egypt.​
- This vegetable can
be grown in different colours,
and makes one think of
radishes. There are six varieties,
in the Netherlands,
the white Rammenas is
known as Rettich.
