Goals

After this lesson:

- you can name the different types of bloodvessels.

- can you name the difference between arteries, veins and capillaries.

Arteries

Arteries: go from the heart to other organs.

The wall is thick, because pushes blood with a lot of power through the arteries.

Veins

Veins: go from an organ to the heart.

Veins have valves so blood can only go one way.

Capillaries

Capillaries: the smallest blood vessels in the human body.

In the capillaries oxygen can exit the blood and carbon dioxide go's into the blood.
